Well-Earned Recognition Goes a Long Way

"A quiet secluded life in the country, with the possibility of being useful to people to whom it is easy to do good, and are not accustomed to have it done to them; then work which one hopes may be of some use; then rest, nature, books, music, love for one's neighbor - such is my idea of happiness."  Leo Tolstoy

To some, a quiet secluded life in the country is their idea of happiness. To others, the hustle and bustle of busy streets and lots of people in the city is happiness. One idea of happiness we can all agree on is making another person feel appreciated when they least expect it.

Whether an employee who has been working tirelessly to cover for a co-worker on sick leave or a customer who has recently completed a long-term project, a small gesture of appreciation can go a long way. Letting them know that someone has noticed how hard they’re working will give them a gentle reminder that it is all worth it.

Alternatively, perhaps your store has been undergoing a renovation for quite some time. What better way to thank customers for their patience than a small token of gratitude and a warm handshake, thanking each one personally for their business.

The personal touch of giving kindness to those who don’t expect it. Going the extra mile to make someone’s day have that special moment will, in turn, give you happiness. How have you made someone’s day when they least expected it? Let us know on Facebook at http://www.Facebook.com/PandaPromosInc.
